Yesterday I watched Rush Hour 3 with Jessica and I have to admit that the plot lacked some depth. Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan were hilarious as usual and the movie was very entertaining. I do not regret watching it and I would have even paid for it if we didn't have free movie passes. Chris Tucker really adds the comedy aspect to the movie and Jackie compliments him well. The funniest parts in the movie were when Chris said something so stupid that you just had to laugh.

I am a believer that the plot makes or breaks a movie, I don't care how well its directed, or how great the animation is, if the plot is shit then the whole movie is shit. The plot to Rush Hour 3 wasn't terrible but it was missing depth. What I mean by missing depth is that there is no big picture to the movie, the bad guy at the beginning is the main bad guy. Usually there is somebody more important then the initial bad guy the same way the guy rush hour 2 was working for that white dude.

The worst part about the plot is that at the end of the movie the danger is far from over. There are still 13 Triad drug lords that are looking to kill them and nothing happens about it. It sort of feels like somehow the movie just didn't end and you were left thinking that these guys are fucked!

This is just my take on the movie and I did find it very entertaining, I would recommend going to watching it.
